Versant Media Q2 Profit Falls 30% in First Standalone Quarter After Comcast Spin-Off

Versant Media's Q2 2026 net income fell 30% to $211 million from $302 million, on revenue down 3.8% to $1.64 billion, Variety reports. The owner of CNBC, MS NOW and USA cited public-company costs, separation-related interest, and a higher tax bill from May's SportsEngine sale. It was Versant's first full quarter after being spun off from Comcast.
