Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream tops 8 million copies, outselling its 3DS predecessor in under four months

Nintendo said Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream sold more than 8 million copies as of August 5, less than four months after its April 16 Nintendo Switch release. The figure surpasses the 6.73 million lifetime sales of its 3DS predecessor, Tomodachi Life — the first new entry in the franchise in over a decade.
