Switch 2 reaches 23.68 million units, outpacing every Nintendo console at the same stage

Nintendo's Switch 2 has sold 23.68 million units in its first 13 months on sale, the company reported in its Q1 results covering April–June 2026. No prior Nintendo console matched that pace across five fiscal quarters: the Wii reached 20.13 million, the original Switch 17.79 million. The Switch 2 added 3.82 million units last quarter alone.
