Hilary Duff brought out Benji and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte during her 5 August 2026 Madison Square Garden show to perform the band's 2002 single "The Anthem." Duff dated Joel Madden from 2004 to 2006. The cameo came on her Lucky Me Tour, supporting "Luck … or Something," her first album in over a decade, released 20 February via Atlantic.
