Australian music manager Ralph Carr named as convicted rapist after suppression order lifted

The County Court of Victoria lifted a three-year suppression order on August 3, 2026, naming promoter and talent manager Ralph Carr, 66, as the businessman convicted of two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault. Carr, whose clients included Kate Ceberano, Tina Arena and Vanessa Amorosi, had not yet been sentenced. His barrister said he would appeal.
