BMG acquires Andrew Stockdale's Wolfmother publishing, royalty and neighbouring rights

BMG has acquired Andrew Stockdale's publishing, recorded music royalties and neighbouring rights across Wolfmother's catalogue, the company confirmed on 3 August 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed. The deal extends a partnership begun in 2016, when BMG became Stockdale's global publisher. BMG's president for Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia, Heath Johns, signed Stockdale's first publishing deal in 2005 at Universal Music Publishing.
