Regal joins AMC backing Paramount-Warner Bros. merger as 12 state AGs sue to block it

Regal CEO Eduardo Acuna backed the proposed Paramount-Warner Bros. merger on August 5, giving the deal public support from America's two largest cinema chains — AMC and Regal. Twelve state attorneys general sued July 13 to block the $111 billion deal on antitrust grounds. A 12-day trial is set for March 2–19, 2027.
