Violent Night's Mrs. Claus scene written and scrapped in one day, producer tells Deadline

Violent Night writers Pat Casey and Josh Miller drafted a post-credits Mrs. Claus scene for the 2022 original, then discarded it the next morning. Producer Kelly McCormick told Deadline the filmmakers "overthought" the introduction and never made an offer for the role. The character debuts instead in Violent Night 2, with Kristen Bell, opening December 4.
