Rossellini honoured at Locarno 78 years after her father won the festival's top prize
Isabella Rossellini received the Excellence Award Davide Campari at the 79th Locarno Film Festival's opening night on 5 August, addressing an 8,000-strong crowd on the Piazza Grande. Her father, Roberto Rossellini, won Locarno's Pardo for "Germany, Year Zero" in 1948 — 78 years apart, the same Piazza Grande. The festival runs through 15 August. (Deadline)
