TikTok Shuts Nashville Office, Lays Off All Local Staff

TikTok has closed its Nashville office in midtown's Moore Building and laid off all local staff, Billboard reported on 5 August 2026. A spokesperson cited efforts "to streamline operations and better align teams for long-term growth." TikTok maintained a Nashville presence since 2021, working from a WeWork space before leasing the 19th Avenue office around 2024. The affected headcount is undisclosed.
