Vollering wins Tour de France Femmes stage five on Mont Brouilly; Reusser keeps yellow by 12 seconds

Demi Vollering (FDJ United-Suez) won stage five of the Tour de France Femmes, a 140 km race from Macon to Belleville-en-Beaujolais, outsprinting yellow jersey holder Marlen Reusser (Movistar) and Kasia Niewiadoma (Canyon-Sram) after her repeated attacks on the 14% slopes of Mont Brouilly splintered the group with 10 km left. All three finished at 3:53:54. Reusser leads the GC by 12 seconds over Vollering.
