The trailer for documentary "The Work in Progress" debuted via Deadline on 5 August 2026. Director Ian Cheney filmed over six months as 100-plus Americans across seven states met face-to-face, guided by question cards from executive producer Robert Reich. Abramorama opens it 4 September at the Quad in New York, with Oscar consideration intended.
