Locarno launches investment community, bringing 45 private investors to festival talent incubators

The 79th Locarno Film Festival has launched the Locarno Investment Community with the not-for-profit Oxberry, Deadline reported on 5 August 2026. The initiative brings roughly 45 private investors to meet producers and directors from Locarno Pro's three talent incubators — Alliance 4 Development, Match Me! and Open Doors — which together process around 100 incubated talents each year.
