Argentina's Albornoz banned four matches for intimidating referee after England defeat
Argentina fly-half Tomás Albornoz has been banned for four matches after accepting misconduct charges for intimidating referee Angus Gardner following Argentina's 31-24 Nations Championship loss to England on 18 July. The disciplinary committee found Albornoz made physical contact with Gardner on two occasions and had to be restrained by teammates. A six-match low-end entry point was reduced to four for his early acceptance, apologies, and clean record.
