Larry Ellison personally guaranteed $46.7 billion toward David Ellison's $111 billion Paramount–Warner Bros. Discovery merger. His net worth fell from above $300 billion in early June to $181 billion by 3 August, per Variety. David Ellison said on Paramount Skydance's Q2 call the transaction's financing is fully in place. The $7 million daily ticking fee begins 1 October.
