Netflix has launched development on a feature adaptation of Ali Hazelwood's novel 'Deep End', Deadline reports. The streamer locked down rights in a pre-empt — a deal struck before publishers could shop the book to rival bidders. Published by Berkley in February 2025, the #1 New York Times bestseller has sold nearly 1.5 million copies across 21 territories.
