Berrett-Koehler Publishers announced Montgomery Station Press on August 5 from Oakland, California. The hybrid imprint gives nonfiction authors senior BK editors, in-house design and Penguin Random House Publisher Services distribution — with authors paying for production rather than receiving an advance. Two packages start at $35,000. Plans call for five to ten titles.
