The Coalition added competitive PvP Versus to the Gears of War: E-Day early access beta after fan feedback, per the official Gears of War X account. The mode will be available for a limited time during the 6–10 August pre-order window. The fully open beta runs 13–17 August with the same content. E-Day launches 6 October 2026.
