ABC News Digital staff vote unanimously to unionise with WGAE

All eligible voters in ABC News Digital's roughly 50-person bargaining unit — reporters, editors, video and social media producers — voted unanimously on 31 July to join the Writers Guild of America East. ABC accepted the representation framework beforehand rather than contesting the vote, according to Variety. The unit now proceeds to first-contract bargaining.
