Ariana DeBose to Lead Autumn Workshop for New Sweet Charity Revival

Ariana DeBose will star in an autumn workshop for a new stage production of Sweet Charity, Deadline reported. A workshop — no sets, no costumes, no paying audience — lets a creative team test material before committing to a full production. Jeff and Rick Kuperman, Tony-nominated for The Outsiders, will direct and choreograph. The producing team includes ATG Theatricals. The original 1966 production ran 608 performances.
