Avengers: Doomsday hits $19 million in premium-format advance sales four months before release

Avengers: Doomsday has accumulated $19 million in advance ticket sales for premium-format theatres since going on sale the previous month, The Hollywood Reporter reported on 5 August. The film opens 18 December. Disney's Josh D'Amaro told a quarterly earnings call that Spider-Man: Brand New Day's record $360 million domestic opening — domestic, the United States and Canada — "bodes well" for the Marvel tentpole.
