Manchester United name Eva Olid as women's head coach within 24 hours of Marc Skinner's exit

Manchester United appointed Eva Olid as head coach of their women's team on 5 August 2026, signing her contract within 24 hours of Marc Skinner's departure. Olid joins from Hearts, where she built a strong reputation in the Scottish Women's Premier League. She had not previously managed in the Women's Super League, England's top-flight women's division, or in European competition.
