Coventry break transfer record for fourth time this summer with £23m Yirenkyi deal
Coventry have agreed a £23m fee — reportedly £23.1m plus £2.6m in add-ons — with Nordsjaelland for Ghana midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi, per the Guardian and Coventry Telegraph. It is their fourth club-record signing this window and takes summer spending past £80m. Yirenkyi, 20, was named Danish league young player of the year for 2025-26 and scored Ghana's winner against Panama at the 2026 World Cup.
