RBmedia acquires UK indie Boldwood Books, adding 2,000-title catalogue

RBmedia, one of the world's largest audiobook publishers, acquired UK independent fiction publisher Boldwood Books on 31 July 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed. Boldwood — founded in 2019 by CEO Amanda Ridout, with 50 million books sold and £8.4 million in revenue — becomes a division but keeps operating under its own brand.
