Pogacar confirmed for Vuelta a España — the only Grand Tour he hasn't won

Ten days after winning a record-equalling fifth Tour de France by nearly six and a half minutes, Tadej Pogacar is confirmed to start the 2026 Vuelta a España on 22 August. It will be his first Vuelta since 2019. The Vuelta is the only one of cycling's three Grand Tours — Tour de France, Giro d'Italia and Vuelta — the 27-year-old Slovenian has yet to win.
