Marvel Rivals' August 7 update cuts PC install size by ~40 GB, consoles by ~15 GB

NetEase Games' Marvel Rivals Season 9.5 update, launching August 7, reduces the PC install size by roughly 40 GB and PS5/Xbox Series X/S by about 15 GB through a texture compression overhaul. NetEase says visual detail is unchanged. The initial download will be larger than a typical patch as assets are repackaged. A Switch 2 version remains undated.
