Chelsea near £20m deal for Rayo's Chavarria as Cucurella replacement

Chelsea are closing in on Rayo Vallecano left-back Pep Chavarria, with personal terms already agreed, according to BBC Sport. The clubs are negotiating a fee below £20m after Chelsea's initial £15m bid was rejected and Rayo at one stage demanded his £42.8m release clause.
