Alex Theatre Becomes World's Top-Grossing 70mm Site for Nolan's 'The Odyssey'

Glendale's 1,400-seat Alex Theatre, dark to first-run film since Terminator 2 in 1991, installed 70mm projectors and is now the highest-grossing cinema playing The Odyssey in 70mm globally, per Deadline. Universal's Nolan epic has grossed $911 million worldwide; the Alex run extends through August 20.
