16th-century relief stolen from Navarra monastery in 2010 recovered by Spanish police

Spain's Policía Nacional and the Mossos d'Esquadra have recovered a 16th-century relief depicting the Virgen de la Inmaculada, stolen in 2010 from the Monasterio de Santa Clara in Fitero, Navarra. The work formed part of the monastery's main altar. It has been returned to the monastery 16 years after the theft. Where it was found and whether arrests were made remain undisclosed.
