Stokes: Brook should have replaced me as England captain, not Root

Ben Stokes told the "For The Love Of Cricket" podcast that vice-captain Harry Brook, not Joe Root, should have succeeded him as England Test captain. Stokes questioned the message sent when Brook did not step up during his suspension. Of Root's return, Stokes said: "He just always puts the team first and he always comes second."
