Jewish Film Institute Awards $95,000 Across Seven 2026 Grant Projects

The Jewish Film Institute named seven independent film projects as 2026 grant recipients on 4 August 2026, distributing $95,000 across filmmakers from the U.S., Israel, France, Canada, Palestine and the U.K. (Deadline). Grantees include The Day After (Yuval Orr, Aziz Abu Sarah), which screened as a work-in-progress at the 46th San Francisco Jewish Film Festival. Since 2020 the Institute has funded 44 projects totalling $575,000.
