O'Connor and Fehr Return for New Mummy, Tying Film to 1999 Trilogy Over 2017 Reboot

Kevin J. O'Connor and Oded Fehr have signed deals to return for Universal's new Mummy film, per Deadline (4 August 2026). Both debuted in the 1999 original; Fehr reprised his role in 2001's The Mummy Returns. They join returning leads Brendan Fraser, Rachel Weisz, and John Hannah. Radio Silence directs from a David Coggeshall script; wide release set for 15 October 2027.
