Snøhetta and SBP complete one-sided cantilever bridge at Watkins Glen State Park, New York

A stainless-steel half-arch bridge by Snøhetta and Schlaich Bergermann Partner has replaced the decayed 1908 Sentry Bridge at Watkins Glen State Park in New York's Finger Lakes region. The prefabricated span anchors to the gorge's stronger north wall and cantilevers 46 feet (14 metres) across to the other side, with no matching support. SBP served as project lead; New York State Parks was the client.
