Jack Gleeson and James Nesbitt join BBC-BritBox Poirot origin series 'Hercule'

Jack Gleeson and James Nesbitt have joined the cast of 'Hercule', a six-part BBC and BritBox series following a young Hercule Poirot's first cases. Edward Bluemel stars. Filming begins imminently in Liverpool. Mammoth Screen and Agatha Christie Limited produce; BritBox carries it in North America in 2027. The Hollywood Reporter reported the casting on 4 August 2026.
