Trinity House Names New Ships for Princess Anne and the Late Prince Philip

Trinity House, the British maritime safety authority chartered in 1514, will name two new vessels THV Princess Royal and THV Prince Philip. Prince Philip served as Master of Trinity House from 1969 until his death in 2021 — the longest-serving Master in its history. Princess Anne succeeded him as Master in 2011. Both ships are due for delivery in 2029.
