Library titles dominate US streaming: only three originals in Nielsen's top ten for first half of 2026

Per Nielsen's biannual report, only three streaming originals — Stranger Things, The Pitt and Bridgerton — ranked in the US top ten most-streamed titles for the first half of 2026. The remaining seven were older library shows: The Big Bang Theory, Grey's Anatomy, SpongeBob SquarePants, Family Guy, Bob's Burgers and PAW Patrol. Acquired titles filled ranks four through ten.
