Laid-off Bethesda designer was working on The Elder Scrolls 6 in-engine daily before departure

Former Bethesda associate game designer Griffin DeClaire, among developers cut in Microsoft's recent layoffs, confirmed to FRVR he worked on The Elder Scrolls 6 "in-engine every day" before his departure. The game was announced eight years ago with only a teaser trailer. Bethesda developers have said they "love how it looks" and are "playing it every day."
