RSC's Game of Thrones: The Mad King in previews with full cast confirmed

The RSC's Game of Thrones: The Mad King, written by Duncan Macmillan and directed by Dominic Cooke, is in previews at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon, running 28 July to 5 September 2026. Michael Shaeffer leads as King Aerys II Targaryen, with Noah Ritter as Prince Rhaegar, Maxim Ays as Jaime Lannister and Michael Abubakar as Eddard Stark.
