Singapore's First Wuxia Feature to World Premiere in Locarno Competition

Nelson Yeo's "The House on the Moon," described as Singapore's first wuxia feature, will world premiere in Locarno's international competition, the festival confirms. Wuxia — the Chinese genre of sword-fighting heroes and martial fantasy — had appeared only on Singaporean television before. Parallax Films holds worldwide sales rights excluding German-speaking territories, Taiwan and Singapore, per Variety.
