Stokes shuts door on 2027 Ashes return, contradicting Rob Key

Ben Stokes told Jos Buttler his England retirement is final, ruling out a 2027 Ashes comeback. The statement contradicts cricket chief Rob Key, who said on 31 July the door remained open. Stokes confirmed he is instead pursuing his level three coaching qualification and said he "would love to be coach of England one day."
