Busan Story Market 2026 selects bestseller author Hwang Bo-reum and Andersen finalist Lee Geum-yi

The Busan Story Market has selected 25 titles across Korea, Taiwan, Japan and Indonesia for its 2026 edition, Variety reports. Hwang Bo-reum, author of the international bestseller 'Welcome to the Hyunam-dong Bookshop', enters with 'My Upstairs Neighbors'; two-time Hans Christian Andersen Award finalist Lee Geum-yi brings 'Chasm of Sorrow'. Both are among 15 Korean picks. The market runs 10–13 October at BEXCO, Busan.
