Gagosian exits Basel and closes London Burlington Arcade space

Gagosian has closed its London space at 28–29 Burlington Arcade, open since October 2023, after agreeing to vacate for a long-term commercial tenant, The Art Newspaper reported. Artforum, on 3 August, called the gallery's withdrawal from Basel — its only permanent space in the Swiss city — temporary, with no return date. ARTnews described the Basel move as a planned exit.
