Haugset takes first yellow jersey for Norway with 88.5 km solo breakaway at Tour de France Femmes

Sigrid Haugset, 27, attacked at the foot of the Col de la Savine and rode alone for 88.5 km of the 156.5 km stage three from Geneva to Poligny, winning by almost 90 seconds. The Norwegian national champion leads the Tour de France Femmes by 2:02 from Kim Le Court. Lotte Kopecky closed to within 10 seconds but could not catch her.
