Williams sisters awarded Cincinnati Open doubles wild card — first pairing since 2022

Serena and Venus Williams received a doubles wild card for the 2026 Cincinnati Open, starting 11 August. They have never played doubles in Cincinnati. Their last competitive outing as a pair was the 2022 US Open, where they lost to Hradecka and Noskova. The pair withdrew from Wimbledon's doubles in July because of a Serena knee injury, making Cincinnati their fitness test before the US Open.
