Springsteen says wife Patti Scialfa is in remission after eight years with blood cancer

Bruce Springsteen said in a video message to Pan-Mass Challenge cyclists in Worcester, Massachusetts, on July 31, 2026, that his wife, E Street Band guitarist and vocalist Patti Scialfa, is in remission after more than eight years with multiple myeloma, a blood cancer. Scialfa, diagnosed in 2018, is treated at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Rolling Stone reported.
