Kumail Nanjiani to Direct and Star in Horror Comedy 'Howl' at Orion Pictures

Kumail Nanjiani will make his directing debut with "Howl," a horror comedy he will also star in, Deadline reports. Orion Pictures, part of Amazon MGM Studios, has landed rights to the project. Madison Vanderberg wrote the Black List-honoured script about a troubled actor who announces on a talk show that he will turn into a werewolf live on television. Production is targeted for 2026. Winter Coat Films and Weed Road Pictures produce.
