
Royal Cousin Who Pled Guilty to Infant Daughter's Manslaughter Dies at 89
Elizabeth Alice Wise, a cousin of Queen Elizabeth II and great-great-granddaughter of Queen Victoria, has died at 89. In 1974 she was charged with murdering her nine-month-old daughter Emma, pleaded guilty to manslaughter, and received twelve months' probation. Born at Kensington Palace in 1936, Wise spent most of her life outside the public eye.
