Jaafar Jackson joins Will Smith in David Gordon Green's 'Supermax' for Amazon MGM

Jaafar Jackson, who played his uncle Michael Jackson in Antoine Fuqua's biopic "Michael," has joined Will Smith and AnnaSophia Robb in "Supermax," a prison-set action thriller directed by David Gordon Green for Amazon MGM Studios and Miramax, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed on 3 August 2026. Smith and Robb play FBI agents investigating a murder inside a maximum-security prison. Amazon MGM holds worldwide rights; a theatrical release precedes Prime Video. Production was expected to begin shortly.
