Stephanie Laing, a two-time Emmy winner for HBO's 'Veep' and Apple TV+'s 'Your Friends & Neighbors,' is set to direct 'Runaway Wedding' for Working Title Films, per sources speaking to Deadline on 3 August 2026. Adam Brooks, whose credits include 'Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason,' wrote the script. Liza Chasin produces. Working Title declined to comment.
