Former England prop Robin Cowling dies aged 82

Robin Cowling, the former England prop who helped build Exeter Chiefs into a Premiership contender, has died aged 82. Exeter confirmed his passing, with director of rugby Rob Baxter paying tribute. Cowling won eight England caps, played over 200 games for Gloucester and three John Player Cup finals with Leicester, then coached Exeter's academy from 1998, developing internationals including Jack Nowell and Luke Cowan-Dickie.
